Do you have $Billions?

Here are some truly heroic ideas:

Buy dying land; then hire & educate young people to replant it, like these folks do.

Sponsor and honor people who risk their lives to clean up our planet, like these folks do.

Invest in a stock fund that encourages a healthy future, like these folks do.

Sponsor local programs around the world to clean up industrial messes, like these folks do.

Buy American-made solar panels for every rooftop in America •Train former coal miners to build fuel-cells and wind turbines •Sponsor arts and science education for millions of young people •Support research into clean energy •Support permaculture farming • Return land to First Nations people to steward • Encourage conservation & innovation

Send your suggestions! (Note: even non-billionaires can do these things.)

Non-heroic ideas include:

Spending $400million to buy every election • Changing your logo to make people think you're "green" • Fighting against laws that protect the air we share •Increasing your profits by dumping toxic waste into your neighbors' property, air, & water • Spending money on ads to show how green you are • Discrediting or attacking scientists • Bribing teachers to say that atmospheric pollution might not be a problem • Ignoring unprecedented hurricanes, floods, fires, droughts, ice melt & ocean acidification • Pretending your decisions don't impact our very survival on this planet • Forgetting that we all must share one world, and that joy is possible if we work together

A few words from our sponsor :

Truly I tell you, it is difficult for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.
